1. Use your bust as main measurement.

2. For measuring bust size, do not use your cup size, please use a measuring tape to measure your bust circumference instead, which is around the fullest part of the bust and across the shoulder blades of your back.

3. To measure your waist size, find your natural waist line (just above the hipbone) and measure using measuring tape. * Remember * Woman's fashion trousers will have bigger waist measurement, as they are normally low rise and do not sit exactly on the natural waistline

4. For hip size, please measure the fullest part of the hip ( which is usually 7-9 inches below the waist )

5. To measure sleeves length, bend arm to 90 degrees, place hand on hip. Start at center of back of neck, measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the wrist.

6. For measuring a jacket, it is recommended for you to use a jacket that you normally wear (if you have one) as the guideline.

7. For measuring a dress, it is recommended for you to use a dress that you normally wear (if you have one) as the guideline.

8. For measuring a trousers, it is recommended for you to use a pants that you normally wear (if you have one) as the guideline. To measure inseam, measure from the top of the inside leg to the floor.

Figure Variations

The total measurement around the body does not describe how the fullness is distributed. If you have noticed any fitting problems when trying on modern clothes, please contact us for more specific measurement. For example, you may want the measurement from neck to waist etc.

Ease

The measure given are the actual measurement of garments. They do not include the amount of ease you need to breathe and move in a acomfortable manner.
For example, Given garment waist measurement of 28", the garment would comfortably fit someone with a waist measurement of 26"-27".

The amount of ease needed is a matter of personal preference, so please do take a minute or two to think whether you would like a tight or loose fitting garment on you.

The general guidelines are:

Bust ease : 1.5" to 4"
Waist ease : 1"
Hip ease : 2"
